Stromanthe Sanginea

A simpler, easier cousin of the prayer plant (both calatheas and marantes) in the family Marantaceae, the Stromanthe Sanginea is sensitive to change. While more forgiving than the prayer plant, it takes some time for the plant to forget, protesting by curling up its leaves. Like the calathea, it’s a reminder that rocky situations need patience and time.
