Plants can be powerful keepsakes for the moments that pass by… each plant holds its own history, whether it be through mythologies or cultural uses, and— combined with the significance you attribute to it when you bring it into your home— it can create a highly personalized gift for yourself or those around you.

With each plant and arrangement, we provide a bit of history or culture to mark whatever occasion you're marking with your purchase, and we hope it will live on with you and point back to a moment you hold dear.

Whether this plant is for an avid grower or simply someone who's hit a big milestone, we hope we can bring a bit more light and memorability to your days with a little piece of Earth that grows with you.

A little About Us

Bookmark Plant Store is a small business co-owned by Garnet and Ivan, two homebodies living with two extremely chatty quaker parrots and a jungle of houseplants, herbs, and everything in between. From researching the cultural significance and care and propagation of different plants, to warring with every single infestation under the grow-light sun, the obsession with plants became hard to justify without a physical store.

We want to bring people the same amount of joy we receive when we're receiving and caring for plants. Thus, when we sell plants and plant arrangements to our customers, we put a lot of emphasis on the presentability, cultural meaning, and care guide of each plant, in hopes that everyone who buys or receives a plant/arrangement from us will use these plants to bookmark a special page in their lives.
