In some homes, this plant is considered quite easy to grow and propagate and love; in others, it wilts the moment you turn your back. It thrives on light and love but struggles under overbearing care (ie. It likes the sun but can get scorched, and it likes frequent waterings but can suffer root rot). However, when you find the balance and space, hearts pour out of the pot like a fountain (hence the name Ceropegia, or “wax fountain”).

How to Care for String of Hearts (Ceropegia Woodii)?

This plant grows in several areas around South-Africa and Zimbabwe, making them a lover of the sun. However, too much sun can burn it out (not too much will yellow it), and too much water will kill it (check for shriveling leaves). Remember to untangle its hair as it grows.
