Ming aralia is quite a delicate plant, with thousands of frond-like leaves that give it the scientific name, Polyscias (‘many shaded’), and the common name, Parsley Aralia. Though it’s not able to withstand harsher conditions, it’s grown to have quite a healthy relationship with people, where it’s been used in some foods (in some countries), having anti-inflammatory properties and digestive benefits, as well as some other possible but understudied qualities. Perhaps for this reason, Ming Aralia is sometimes associated with protection and good fortune.

Care Guide

How to Grow and Care for Ming Aralia, Polyscias fruticosa?

As their tiny leaves might suggest, the ming aralia is delicate to environmental change. While it can sometimes scorch with too much (or concentrated sun), It's also sensitive to dark and cold conditions. The trick to a happy plant is finding a comfortable middle ground, where the soil is consistently moist and the light is generally bright, and the air isn’t gusted with drafts.
