While some species of jasmine grow in vines, with star-shaped summer flowers, he Grand Duke of Tuscany is a shrubby cultivar of Sambac Jasmine that can grow in containers, blooming all year round. Opening mainly at night, the flowers are the largest and fullest of their kind, and the soothing scent (often considered an aphrodisiac in teas) can have the effect of a slow waltz deep into the warm night, slowly lulling you to sleep.

How to Care for Jasminum Sambac ‘Grand Duke of Tuscany’?
This plant can bloom as long as it’s bright and humid enough for the plant to thrive between waterings. With fairly undemanding, shallow roots (and the preference toward evenly moist soil, which can be better managed with a substrate you can choose and a plant you can move in bad weather), this jasmine grows fairly easily in pots, which can be brought in during colder, drier seasons. By the time it grows up it’ll likely be a shrub or small tree of 1-3ft tall.
