Baby's Tears

The adorable, surprisingly hardy little leaves of the Soleirlia Soleirolii love to be pampered. They like moist (but not wet) soil, and gentle (but not direct) light. The plant can grow quite aggressively in ideal environments and wilt dramatically (in patches) if it’s left to dry out, but they’re easy to trim and bounce back quickly, and it’s a harmless (non-toxic) addition that can be quite calming and rewarding for the people who need it.

How to Care for Baby's Tears

This plant is native to the shadier understories of the Mediterranean, making them a simple (albeit water-loving) houseplant. While they don’t like sitting in pools, they enjoy more water than less, thriving the best in terrarium environments.
