Collection: Epipremnum

Whether you’re living in an indoor rainforest or have trouble keeping plastic plants alive, you’ll have come across an epipremnum. Commonly known as pothos or devil’s ivy (amongst other names), epipremnum is grown in hanging baskets or pots as trailing plants across thresholds or from ceilings, known for their adamant hardiness regardless the color of thumb. In the wild, these plants traverse forest floors and climb canopies, growing massive leaves that fenestrate in time, and when they reach the fullest extent of their environment’s natural capacity, they don’t toil aimlessly upward (the way some plants are programmed to), but instead grow smaller leaves and longer shoots and (unintuitively) go searching for the dark. Thus, they’ve become vestiges of both stubborn hardiness and creativity.
