How to Grow and Care for Variegated Ginger (Alpinia zerumbet)?

Like the standard ginger plant, the shell ginger grows in moist and humid environments with well-draining soil, in dappled or full sun. Though the plant grows well in a wide range of environments, it does start to brown at the edges when left in cold or dry conditions.
