Care Guide

How to Grow and Care for Caladium ‘Red Flash’ (Caladium Bicolor)?

Warm, moisture-loving plants, caladiums tend to retreat at the first signs of trouble (like the cold, dark breaches of winter), going into dormancy until the weather gets warmer, brighter, and more humid. While you can maintain the plant throughout the year by supplementing light and heat, there’s nothing wrong with cutting the plant back, putting it in a warm dry pot of peat moss, and waiting for it to bounce back in the spring.
